SYC – AnyBody Workshops

We are touring a new series of exciting workshops from 2014 across the UK.

Southbank

The Occupy Your Body workshops explore women’s relationship with our bodies in the context of media, capitalism, food and family. They contain a lively mix of discussion and creative activism. They create a space in which we can exchange, be entertained, and formulate ideas for change, in a world where too often other people make our bodies their business. Our workshops are shaped by those that attend, many issues intersect with body image and we know the more we all discuss and learn from each other the richer the experience is for all involved. Our workshops are carefully facilitated, to account for the sensitivity that may surround the topic of the body. Anyone who is interested is welcome, suitable for all ages from 16 upward.
